Who they are
Bowers Group is a UK-headquartered global supplier of precision measuring instruments, part of the 250-year-old Spear & Jackson Group. It brings together four established metrology brands: Bowers, Moore & Wright, Baty and its partner brands (Trimos, Sylvac, Gagemaker, Wyler).
Bowers itself is best known for internal bore measurement and hand gauging. Moore & Wright (founded 1906, Sheffield) is a long-standing UK brand for calipers, micrometers and shopfloor tools. Baty (founded 1932) is manufactured in Bradford and produces dial indicators, profile projectors and vision measurement systems - a British-made vision alternative recognised with Made in Britain accreditation.
A previous recipient of the Queen's Award for Export, Bowers Group currently exports around 82% of its output.

Moore & Wright hand tools
Calipers, micrometers, height gauges and inspection hand tools manufactured under a Sheffield brand with over a century of heritage. Practical everyday shopfloor metrology.
Baty profile projectors & vision systems
British-made profile projectors (the Baty Shadograph is an industry standard) and video/vision measurement systems, including Video Edge Detection for higher accuracy and repeatability. Manufactured in Bradford.
Calibration & service
Bowers Group provides calibration and service across its own brands and the partner instruments it supplies.
